Inside your operating environment
The live broadcast, the videoboard and the show inside the venue have different priorities. A coordinated infrastructure gives each team the sources, control and communications it needs.
Map which cameras and replay sources are shared and which outputs need independent treatment. Consider graphics, sponsor content, audio and monitoring at each destination. The design should make those relationships explicit rather than relying on show-day workarounds.
Review camera connection points, fiber paths, control-room interfaces and communications coverage. Account for visiting crews and outside production connections. Known handoff points make it easier to plan a regular game, a special event or a temporary production.
Identify venue access and the calendar before defining an upgrade sequence. Separate work that can happen ahead of the cutover from work that needs a dark period. Include staff familiarization and a production check before the next event.
